'Transboundary Air Pollution:
Acidification, Eutrophication and Ground Level Ozone in the UK'
draft report produced by the
National Expert Group on Transboundary Air Pollution

The National Expert Group on Transboundary Air Pollution (NEGTAP), a team of leading experts on air pollution and ecology, has produced a draft report for comment. NEGTAP was established in 1998 by the Secretary of State for the Environment to advise the Department on biological and chemical trends in the UK environment, and the prospects for ecosystem recovery, as a result of current and projected transboundary air pollution. You are invited to review the draft report, and provide comments, before it is finalised by NEGTAP.

NEGTAP's draft report is available in Adobe Acrobat format for downloading at:
www.nbu.ac.uk/negtap/docs.htm.

A hard copy of the report may be requested from Dorothy Dickson, AEQ Division, DETR, 4/E11 Ashdown House, 123 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6DE.

Comments should be sent to the Chairman of NEGTAP, Prof. D. Fowler, Centre for Ecology and Hydrology Edinburgh, Bush Estate, Penicuik, Midlothian, EH26 0QB. email: dfo@ceh.ac.uk.

Comments should be received by 28th May 2001.
