is page contains details which allow Regular Reservist and suitably qualified TA officers and soldiers to serve for varying periods with the regular army, both at home and abroad. Although aimed at this audience, all visitors are welcome to see how the Reserve are being integrated and serving alongside their regular counterparts.
Flexible service with the Regular Army
FTRS provides a flexible way for ex-Regular and TA officers and soldiers to serve with the Regular Army. The army is looking for people who are qualified members of the TA and regular reserve. If you fit the bill then we can offer you a number of job opportunities. Posts are varied, and may be for between 6 and 42 months, with most posts attracting comparable regular rates of pay. Can you measure up?
To the challenge of serving alongside the regulars on operations. Mobilised service offers the chance for qualified TA and ex-Regulars who volunteer to deploy on operations worldwide. Tours are from 6 months, and the package includes a mobilisation bounty and job protection measures for those who have their bosses' agreement.
Integration through confidence
All mobilised reservists go through the RTMC at Chilwell, Nottingham for processing or to refresh their skills prior to deployment. From May this year they will also be processing FTRS, take a look at their site if you want to know more. Territorial Army
Ex-regulars are also often valued for their knowledge and experience by TA units. If you would welcome a chance to return to the military family, but on a part-time basis that allows you to continue your civilian career or studies, you can find details here.
