About this unit

In this unit pupils learn to talk and write about how well they are doing at school. The unit introduces the future tense, which pupils can use as well as, or instead of, the immediate future tense to discuss their plans and option choices.

New language content:

  • future tense (including some irregular verbs)
  • ser and estar (differences and guidelines for usage)

New contexts:

  • future plans
  • option choices
  • form-filling
  • writing a formal letter
  • jobs

Alternative contexts: school and school subjects; personal statement about hobbies, leisure activities, likes and dislikes.

This unit is expected to take 12-15 hours.
