'ISRAEL BOMBINGS BEYOND CONTEMPT' – STRAW
The Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, said on 2 December that he was ‘shocked to learn of the terrorist attacks in Israel’. He added that the ‘outrages and the suffering that accompanies them must stop’. The Foreign Secretary welcomed the pledge by Palestinian leaders to track down those responsible for the attacks and concluded that the leaders 'must do everything in their power to prevent further attacks of extremist violence'.
