STOCKHOLM SPECIAL EUROPEAN COUNCIL: STATEMENT BY THE FOREIGN SECRETARY
The Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, issued a statement on 24 March on the Stockholm Special European Council, 23-24 March. 'We came to Stockholm with three aims: more jobs for Britain; a better deal for British consumers; and bigger markets for British goods,' Mr Cook said. 'The Conclusions agreed by the European Council today will deliver those objectives.'
