Benefit payments over Christmas and New Year 2011

If you get benefits and are due payment over Christmas or New Year, you should get your payment earlier than normal.

Child Benefit and tax credits payments

Your tax credits payments are made every week or every four weeks, depending on what you chose when you claimed.

If your usual payment day falls on a bank holiday, you should get your payment earlier than normal.
