Acting Chief Petty Officer Simon Owen

It is with great regret that the Ministry of Defence has to confirm that Acting Chief Petty Officer Simon Roger Owen died while serving in HMS Chatham on 17 December 2004, while the ship was on patrol in the Gulf. Aged 38, he was married and lived in Plymouth. His death is believed to have been from natural causes.

Our thoughts are very much with his family at this difficult time.
