Identifying purposes for qualifications in the QCF

Organisations operating in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) are required to identify purposes for qualifications submitted for accreditation to the QCF. This document sets out a list of possible purposes that can be selected and a set of rules for identifying qualifications purposes. This arrangement will be tested and trialled until summer 2009 and comprehensively evaluated.
