Knighthood for Gerald Barling

The Queen has been pleased to approve that the honour of Knighthood be conferred upon Gerald Edward Barling QC, on his appointment as a Justice of the High Court.

Gerald Edward Barling: Born 1949. Educated at St Mary’s College, Blackburn; New College, Oxford. Called to Bar, Middle Temple, 1972; Assistant Recorder, 1990-93; Bencher, 2001; a Recorder since 1993.
