Catalogue Reference:(MOL) IN4925

A young couple stand with their arms around each other for this photograph taken between 1891 and 1910 which makes up a greeting card for the Jewish New Year. In the early days of photography natural light provided the only light source but in 1877 for the first time a studio was opened in central London lit by electric light.
