A 1911 poster advertising Guinness' Stout. The brewery was started by Arthur Guinness in St James's Gate, Dublin in 1759. 10 years later the first exports were made to England. By 1833 Guinness's brewery was the largest in Ireland but it wasn't until 1936 that the first overseas brewery was opened at Park Royal in London.
