An Introductionary Overview of the Relationship Between Insolvency and Other Economic Factors

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) publish parallel, quarterly statistics on the number of company winding up and bankruptcy petitions presented at court.  

Enterprise Directorate, within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), publishes the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Statistics for the UK and Regions. This publication gives information on employment and turnover, as well as the total business stock for the UK. 

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) publish the annual Business Demography report, detailing information on births, deaths and survivals of UK enterprises.
