The latest National Statistics on insolvencies produced by The Insolvency Service (an Executive Agency of BIS) are released on 7th November 2008 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority. Statistics on quarterly insolvencies for the UK are published for the period from Q1 1999 up to Q1 2009 and include headline figures for England and Wales covering personal insolvencies, made up of bankruptcies and individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs), and company liquidations, consisting of compulsory liquidations and creditors voluntary liquidations (CVLs) These statistics report on the period January – March 2009 and update those previously released on 6th February. From 09:30 on Friday 1 May 2009.
