CRB code of practice

Organisations that wish to use Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks must comply with this code of practice, developed after a lengthy public consultation exercise with input from a range of organisations.

The code applies to anybody who receives Standard or Enhanced CRB check information, including:

  • Registered Bodies
  • Umbrella Bodies
  • recruiters and others receiving the information
