Review of the legislative framework for credit unions and industrial and provident societies in Northern Ireland

The Treasury announced at Pre-Budget Report 2008 that it would review the legislative framework for credit unions (CU) and industrial and provident societies (IPS) in Northern Ireland (NI) working closely with the Northern Ireland Executive (NIE).  The Treasury also met with key NI stakeholders in the CU and IPS sectors as part of this review and is grateful to all, for their contributions.
