Gift Aid Forum

The Gift Aid forum meets every two months to explore how best to use the Gift Aid system to support the third sector.

The forum will consider options for reform of the Gift Aid system as well as process improvements. The forum will also consider improvements to payroll giving and the reliefs for gifts of shares and property.

The committee is chaired by the Treasury and is made up of representatives from HMRC and the Office of the Third Sector, as well as representatives from the charity sector.

The agenda and minutes of forum meetings will be published here as they become available.  The first meeting took place on 8 February 2010 and agreed the terms of reference for the forum.
