Implementing Hampton: from enforcement to compliance

This document outlines the progress that has been made on implementing the Hampton principles across the regulatory regime, as set out in a report by Philip Hampton: 'Reducing administrative burdens: effective inspection and enforcement', March 2005. As well as highlighting examples of best practice by regulators, the report also sets out measures which will encourage full implementation of Hampton at both a national and local level.
