Recruitment in HM Treasury

Our recruitment procedures are in accordance with the Civil Service Commissioners' Recruitment Code, which is based on the principles of fair and open competition and selection on merit. There are systems in place to ensure compliance with the recruitment code, and the Treasury was visited by a Compliance Monitoring team, on behalf of the Civil Service Commissioners, during October 2007.

Treasury recruitment shown by category between April 2006 and March 2007 is as follows1:
