The Climate Change Projects Office (CCPO) is jointly funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). We are a Government advisory office set up to assist UK businesses who wish to pursue opportunities arising from the Kyoto Protocol. We provide advice and support for projects which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and which could be eligible for tradeable emission reduction credits.

We give information to companies who are new to climate change projects and we also provide help with specific project enquiries.

Two new features have been added to this site. These are a database of UK companies offering climate change related services to assist with developing projects, and a database of country specific information relating to both host and investor countries. We can also provide UK climate change project developers with preliminary project-specific advice if the details of the project are submitted to us via this web site.
