Guidance Note - Timeshare

Timeshare Guide Section 5. What to do if things go wrong

Consider your rights under the law and make clear to the other party to the contract that you will enforce them.

Get independent legal advice as soon as possible from a solicitor (for details of solicitors with experience in timeshare matters contact The Law Society Tel: 020 7242 1222 or visit www.solicitors-online.com and select the topic Travel and Tourism) or from the Citizens Advice Bureau or from the Trading Standards Department of your local authority.

You can find the address and telephone number for your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Department in the phone book or by visiting either www.citizensadvice.org.uk or www.tradingstandards.gov.uk and entering your postcode. For details of the UK Community Legal Service see www.justask.org.uk/

Where can I get more advice?
