Universities’ links with schools in STEM subjects

Professors Julia Goodfellow and John Coyne were asked by the Secretary of State to look at how universities could increase STEM uptake and also how they could work with schools to achieve this. Their report is below

The questions the report answers are:

  • what more can universities offer to enhance their impact on STEM for young people?
  • how can universities improve their existing involvement with schools?

The professors’ report is available to read below, along with the original remit letters sent to them by the Secretary of State.
