European Parliament Elections Timetable 1999

Wednesday 5 May Last day for publications of notice of election (4pm)  
Thursday 13 May Last day for delivery nomination papers / withdrawal of candidature / consent to nomination (4pm) (Not later than 19th day before polling day)
Thursday 13 May Latest time for making objections to nomination papers (5pm) (Last day for delivery of nomination papers)
Thursday 13 May Publication of statement of persons nominated and notice of poll (5pm) (At close of time for making objections to nomination papers)
Tuesday 25 May Last day for receipt of absent voting applications (5pm) (11th day before polling day)
Wednesday 2 June Last day for reciept of late absent voting applications (6th day before polling day)
Tuesday 8 June Last day for appointment of polling and counting agents (2nd day before polling day)
Thursday 10 June Polling day (7am - 10pm)
