SoundJunction opens up new opportunities to discover, explore and create music. Users can explore a range of musical worlds, explore how music is inspired, developed and created, and create their own compositions.

SoundJunction opens up new opportunities for young people to discover, explore and create music

SoundJunction is a compelling resource for discovering music and inspiring creativity. Produced by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, the website offers access to a range of exclusive musical experiences that promote a deep appreciation of the connections and distinctions between different cultures musical methods and forms. Users can deconstruct and re-assemble pieces of music into their own unique composition.

SoundJunction provides the opportunity to learn from real musicians, search for tips and watch professionals perform. In providing the tools to sample, adapt and edit audio content, the site also invites users to 'get creative' and construct their own musical works.

SoundJunction complements music modules in National Curriculum Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level.

The SoundJunction website, was launched in October 2005 to critical acclaim. SoundJunction has picked up a clutch of awards including a BETT Award, BIMA, AOP, New Media Effectiveness, E-Learning and Music Industries Association award.
