Question: Request for information about the new London 2012 brand. Applicant asked:
1. whether the London Organising of the Olympic Games - or any other government-affiliated body - own the copyrights to any of the designs for the 2012 logo which were submitted to it by the company Wolff Olins but vetoed in favour of the design unveiled on 4 June 2007;
2. if it is the case that the copyrights are not privately owned, and are therefore owned by a government body, will the Department for Culture, Media and Sport release images of the various designs submitted by Wolff Olins which were vetoed in favour of the design unveiled on 4 June; and
also requested a copy of the contract made between LOCOG and Wolff Olins.
