Guidance on the use of the Best Value logo
The Best Value logo is protected by Crown copyright. It may be reproduced free of charge by any Local Authority (from a County Council to a Parish Council) without requiring specific permission. This is subject to the logo being reproduced accurately and not being used in a derogatory manner or in a misleading context.
- The logo size should be a minimum of 40mm and the preferred position is the bottom right corner of the page. Second preferred position is top left, and third position is bottom left.
- The logo should not be used in advertising.
- When used on a Web site a clear indication must be made to indicate to viewers that it is protected by Crown copyright.
- When used on a Web site it must be supported by the ALT tag "Best Value logo".
- The logo should not be used as a hyperlink
- If appearing on a coloured background, the branding should appear completely white out.
- If on a white or pale background, the branding can be in all black or with the tick in green.
- These files (available for download below) may be re-sized as required using a graphics manipulation package, such as, Adobe® Photoshop
If you are outside the terms detailed then authorisation to reproduce must be obtained. A permission request should be directed to shaline.manhertz@communities.gsi.gov.uk. Tell us who you are, the organisation you represent (if any), how and why you wish to use the Best Value branding.
