Publications on net housing supply

Introduction

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) produces an annual Statistical Release showing the net supply of housing in England and its Regions between 1 April and 31 March each year. Net housing supply takes into account new build dwellings and gains and losses to the stock through changes of use, conversions and demolitions.

The Statistical Release and accompanying tables can be obtained by selecting the appropriate year in the list of published releases below. Other available data relating to net housing supply can be found in the Live tables on stock section (see tables 118, 120, 121 and 122).
