Recognition of Professional Qualifications


Review of the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications Directive

The European Commission released a Green Paper on a revised Recognition of Professional Qualifications Directive on 22 June 2011. This is a formal consultation process by the Commission, outlining what shape a new Directive is likely to take. The Commission plans to propose a Directive in December.

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills coordinated a UK Government response to the Green Paper:
