Call for evidence - EU proposal for a Posting of Workers Enforcement Directive

Open date: 14 Jun 2012

Closing date: 26 Jul 2012

Response date: 11 Oct 2012

The Call for Evidence sought views from UK stakeholders on recent proposals from the European Commission for a Posting of Workers Enforcement Directive. The proposals are likely to have an impact on businesses who employ posted workers or post workers to other Member States and workers posted to or from the UK. Those in the construction sector who post workers to other Member states or who make use of posted workers through sub-contracting work to EU contractors will be particularly affected. Views and evidence were sought on the likely type and scale of these impacts. A summary of the responses has been published.
