Our services are:
All licence applications are made via the SPIRE website.

This online database enables you to search (by keyword) for an entry that specifies your goods, software or technology in the current export control list (the listing of controlled goods for which export licences are required).
If you know that your goods require an export licence and know the 'rating' (Control List entry) for your goods, you can use this online database to search for any Open General Export Licences (OGELs) that you may be able to use.
Note: For more details see the Licences page for information about OGELs and other types of licence.
This is an advisory service provided by ECO's Technical Assessment Unit (TAU). If you not sure whether you need an export licence, TAU is on hand to help you rate your goods (In other words to decide whether your goods are controlled or subject to sanctions and if you need a licence).
You need to complete a rating request on the SPIRE website, remembering to provide the necessary technical and specification details.
