Peter joined the Shareholder Executive in July 2007.

He is an experienced venture capital fund manager with a particular focus on technology based businesses covering seed investment to IPO. Prior to joining the Shareholder Executive, he was a founder director of the Carbon Trust, where he led their investment activity in the low carbon and clean energy sectors. He has wide experience in the commercial exploitation of intellectual property, corporate strategy and organisational design.

Within the Shareholder Executive, Peter works primarily on defence related matters including a number of MoD trading funds such as:

  • the Met Office where he is a non-executive director
  • DSTL
  • UKHO
  • DSG where he is on the Owners Council.

He is also a non executive director of Capital for Enterprise Ltd, the Government's fund management businesses focussing on venture capital and SME bank lending.
