Information and updates for the Inquest
The purpose of this website is to keep the general public informed of details relating to the Inquest, including transcripts of the proceedings.
His Honour Judge Baker QC has been appointed as Assistant Deputy Coroner for Hertfordshire for the purposes of hearing the Inquest, which will examine the circumstances surrounding the deaths of:
- Austen Kark
- Emma Knights
- Jonael Schickler
- Alexander Ogunwusi
- Chia Hsin Lin
- Chia Chin Wu
- Agnes Quinlivan
which occurred during the Potters Bar Derailment on 10 May 2002.
The Inquest starts on June 1st at the Spirella Building in Letchworth Garden City at 10am. Read more about attending the Inquest.

Broad Scheme of the Inquest

Further management hearing
