MONEYPENNY – FLEXIBLE WORKING CASE STUDY

Glenn Jackson, Managing Director at Moneypenny, comments on the company’s flexible working policies;

“Offering flexible working hours and a relaxed work environment creates a rewarding and productive atmosphere, both of which have significantly contributed to our success.

“Employee ‘benefits’ work both ways, companies that take the time to invest in the emotional or physical wellbeing of their employees, invariably reap the harvest of an engaged and motivated workforce. However, investing in employees may not even require hard cash, but simple choices such as having an ‘open door’ policy should a member of staff have an issue or problem they would like to discuss.

“We also offer employees “bad hair days”, where they can take time off at short notice to attend school plays or manage other urgent matters that crop up in day to day life. Both empower employees with flexibility and trust, which we believe is returned through greater productivity and engagement.

“As we continue to grow we remain acutely aware that our employees are our principal asset and as such need to be cared for. With the right policies in place companies can attract and retain the best employees, who in turn are best placed to serve clients and further grow the business.”
