A Guide for Suppliers

The DTI spends over £400 million each year on goods and services covering a wide range. Achieving value for money is therefore essential.

The purpose of this information is to help suppliers identify potential opportunities from the variety of goods and services required by the Department of Trade and Industry. Hopefully it will explain how we go about our business of buying these in, and how you might become involved in the process.

Any successes in obtaining business from the DTI will depend largely on the quality of your products and services compared with your competitors. We hope that this document goes some way to help you in your aims.
