Operator Royal Signals (NC)
As a Op RS(NC) you will provide and maintain Radio and IT equipment. The lynchpin of a battlefield communications, this trade operates all types of radio platforms including Ultra, High and Very High Frequency (UHF, HF and VHF) systems plus BOWMAN and satellite equipment. As well as knowing how to use it, the Op RS(NC) are expected to transport their own kit into the heart of the action.
Electrician 2Bde
As a Royal Signals Electrician you are literally the power behind the Army's communications systems. You will install, maintain and repair vital AC and DC generators along with field distribution power supplies and lighting. You will be responsible for the mechanical repair of all held generator systems and will receive lots of hands on training how they work and what to do when they don't.
Systems Engineer Technician (NC)
As a Royal Signals SET(NC) you will become as expert in the installation maintenance and repair of telephone systems and fibre optic networks. SET(NC) work at the forefront of the military communications technology. You will be trained to install and maintain everything from cable infrastructures and local area networks (LAN's) to close circuit television (CCTV) and video conferencing systems. Training also includes IT and computer skills so you will have an all-round technical education.
Techical Storemen
Techical Storemen are trained to manage a vast range of technical components and special tools.

Chef
The role of the Chef is to feed the regiment whilst on exercise, often this will involve catering from a field kitchen.
Medics
The role of the Combat Medical Technician is to give emergency treatment and evacuate casualties from the front line and deal with the routine medical needs of soldiers both at conflict and in times of peace. You will become highly skilled Medic and a respected member of a team that will be expected to come up with the goods at any given time.
Vehicle Mechanics
The Vehicle Mechanic (VM) is responsible for the repair or replacement of the mechanical parts fitted to all types of army vehicles, and miscellaneous mechanical and electrical equipment. This includes motorcycles, cars different sizes of trucks wheeled or tracked armoured vehicles, mechanical handling equipment and various types of generators.
Vehicle Electricians
Vehicle Electricians are trained in fault diagnosis, repair and modification of electrical components and equipment fitted in our military vehicles.
Armourers
Armourers are trained to inspect, repair and modify range of weapons from small arms to infantry support weapons.
Storemen
Storemen are responsible for accounting for and storing a wide range of military equipment, including clothing, machinery and weapons.
Clerks
Clerks provide administration support to the unit. Using computer systems they ensure that soldiers are paid correctly and all relevant documentation to kept up to date.
