The Royal Engineers Insight Course takes place once a month at Gibraltar Barracks, Camberley, Surrey. The visit is designed to help people get a better understanding of what the Army and specifically Royal Engineers can offer them for a career.
The visit takes place over 5 days (Monday to Friday) and involves you getting your hands on equipment that Royal Engineers use in their day-to-day working environments. You will also visit our trade training facilities and will be shown the trades that are available to those that wish to join the Corps.
So if you’re aged between 14 and 32 and would like to know more about what life in the Royal Engineers is like then visit your local Armed Forces or Army Careers Office to book your place. There is no commitment to join and the visit is completely free of charge including travel.
