Bullying In The Workplace!

A recent survey found that three
and a half million (14% of the
workforce) are bullied at work.
The survey went on to say that
those in professional jobs are
most likely to be bullied and not
those on lower pay.

Employers Should Take Health Of
Staff More Seriously!

The Food and Drink Federation
says that unhealthy eating habits
can directly impact a company's
productivity with almost 97 million
days lost each year due to
unhealthy diets and lifestyles.

It was pointed out that Employers
should discourage staff from not
taking a proper lunch break with
most office workers taking less
than 20 minutes for lunch and "eating over their workstations"

Health Problems Often Caused
Through work.

A recent report suggests that more
than half (55%) of all those in
employment suffer from some form of work related illness. The most common
problem is neck and shoulder related
aches and pains (36%).  Back problems
(32%). Headaches (13%), with a further
11% suffering from muscle and joint pain.
