F Company is a Territorial Army infantry company located in the heart of Mayfair. The Company has two Rifle Platoons based at its TA Centre in Davies Street and its Riflemen come from not just the surrounding area, but all over London.

Recruit Training
Those wishing to serve in The Rifles must undergo recruit training. A challenging course awaits you, to ensure that F Company receives the best Riflemen in London. Training extends over Tuesday nights, nine weekends and finally a two-week training exercise. During this time you will be taught how to live in the field, to fire the standard issue 5.56mm Rifle, to administer first aid, to navigate cross-country by day and night, to operate as a Rifleman in an infantry section, to work in a team, and how to fulfil the Infantry Mission. But most importantly, you will learn how to become a Rifleman and earn the right to wear the capbadge of The Rifles.

Company Training
F Company is continuously training over Tuesday nights, weekends and Annual Camps. This training is conducted both in the classroom and field,  in the UK and many overseas countries to ensure that its Riflemen are always ready for operations. There is always opportunity to learn new skills. But to be an infantry soldier you've got to be fit, the Company is always improving its fitness levels, under the skilful eye of its Physical Training Instructors.

Operations
As a Rifleman, you may be mobilised for Operations in support of the Regular Army. This could include Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo or Bosnia. Click here to learn about the operations that members of F Company have deployed on in recent years.

Adventure Training
In addition to training for Operations, you can expect to take part in Adventure Training. This will always be an outdoor activity designed to enhance your fitness, challenge you and train you to operate in a team.

Ceremonial
F Company has a long history in London and maintains these links through a variety of ceremonial duties where you will be expected to parade in the full glare of the public eye.

Social
F Company believes in working as a Team. As well as training as a Team, the Company holds a number of social opportunities throughout the year.

Promotion
Ability will be recognised and rewarded through promotion. At every rank, there will be a thorough training course to ensure that you are well prepared for the job you will be doing.
