Volunteer presenters for new community FM stations

The 4 new Army Radio FM stations are looking to incorporate more local volunteer presenters into the daily schedule (see News) Should your demo show the right potential, we will be looking at training and guidance in the role. The presentation style will be within the music and programme format already developed by the current Army LPam service of Garrison Radio (click here to listen online).

The presentation roles are to host music radio shows (as above) of between 2 and 4 hours. You will need to have an empathy towards the specialist target audience of soldiers, their families and MoD civilians and will need to live locally.

Email a c.v.doc and voice demo of nor more than 3Mb (anything larger will not get through) to only one of:
colchester@garrisonfm.com OR edinburgh@garrisonfm.com OR salisburyplain@garrisonfm.com OR aldershot@garrisonfm.com
Subject: Volunteer presenter

Weekend jocks

are also required to work in:
Catterick & Edinburgh

Swing jocks

with commercial radio  or BBC experience are also required to work in:
Aldershot, Catterick, Edinburgh & Salisbury Plain

Send a c.v. and mp3 showreel of less than 3Mb immediately to hq@garrisonradio.com Subject: WEEKEND JOBS and list which station is relevant to you. If you are interested in occasional swing shifts change subject to SWING JOCKS

Some of these vacancies are advertised on behalf of Army Radio Companies in the above locations. This website space is provided by the British Army's website and edited by Garrison Radio Ltd.
