The Batteries

The Regiment comprises three gun batterys allequipped with the 105mm Light Gun. Each Battery have their ownunique and strong historical roots and these can be read underthe history sections.



201 (Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire) Yeomanry Battery RoyalArtillery (Volunteers)

201 Battery, based in Luton and Romford, can trace its rootsback over two hundred years and combines the best of traditionwith a modern approach.  
The battery is affiliated with 7 (Parachute) Regiment RoyalHorse Artillery, who it is tasked to support on operationsoverseas.

307 (South Nottingham Hussars Yeomanry) Battery based inNottingham traces its history over 200 years. Famouslyempitomised in the Terrance Cuneo painting of the Battle ofKnightsbridge in the Western Desert in WW2, it continues andacknowledges the fine traditions and standards to this day.
