100 (Yeomanry) Regiment, Royal Artillery is a field gun regiment equipped with the 105mm Light Gun. The Regiment is a War Establishment Reserve (WER) unit which is to provide reinforcements (additional military capability) to the Regular Army for operations. The recent war in Iraq and the ongoing Peace Enforcement Operation is an example where officers and soldiers of the Regiment have served over the last twelve months.

The Regiment's Batteries are located throughout England and are directly affiliated to Regular Regiments on both geographical basis and role. These Regular Regiments include 1 Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery (Tidworth), 7 (Para) Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery (Colchester) and 29 Commando Regiment (Plymouth).
