Kenya - Construction of 2 Geothermal Power Plants

Prequalification for Four Contracts to Construct two power plants of 280 MW Geothermal Power Generation Capacity Complete with Steamfield, substations and Transmission.

The Government of Kenya has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the French Development Agency (AfD) toward the cost of the Kenya Electricity Expansion project and the Olkaria IV and Olkaria I Additional Units Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under four contracts.The Government of Kenya has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the French Development Agency (AfD) toward the cost of the Kenya Electricity Expansion project and the Olkaria IV and Olkaria I Additional Units Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under four contracts.
