An Estonian mining company is looking to buy 1 electric drive feeder breaker on crawlers for mined ore intake from underground loaders (LHD), to break and load evenly on the belt conveyor, for working in Estonian underground mines.

Work environment description for the feeder breaker:

· Horizontal room (width 5 meters and height 2.7-3.8 meters);

· Temperature is +6 to +10 degrees Celsius, relative humidity up to 96%, air dust content up to 1,200 mg/m3; dust explosion possibility.

Breakage characteristics of the ore:

· Bulk weight – 1.2 t/m3

· Hardness – 30 to 80 MPa

· Size of the intake ore – 600 x 900 x 1,200 mm

· Maximum output size of ore – 200 mm

Main technical conditions of the feeder breaker:

· Working voltage – 3 x 690 V(±10%), 50 Hz;

· Equipment earthing – IT

· Productivity regulation - 250÷11000 t/h

· Intake hopper minimum 10 m3

· Feeder breaker automation should guarantee local and automatic control and protection against overload and jamming.

Approximate cost of the feeder breaker: EUR 500,000 (excl. VAT)

This is a two-stage tender: first potential bidders are short-listed from all interested parties. The qualification terms have been published in the Estonian Procurement Register (in Estonian). Tender documents with more detailed descriptions of the requirements will be issued in August 2010 only to pre-qualified bidders.

Bids are welcome in English, Estonian and Russian.
