These have been developed after a period of consultation with the Network Performance Group, SSCs, government and the Devolved Administrations with extensive feedback through a series of meetings with representatives from a small group of SSCs and their lawyer.
 
Following the successful outcome of Relicensing, each SSC will be contacted by their Performance Consultant at the UK Commission to take them through the Performance Handbook and the Contract.  In order to let new strategic funding contracts the UK Commission will confirm the funding allocation with each SSC and discuss and agree with each SSC the following:

• SSC Strategic/Business Plans
• Footprints for their Sector (SIC / SOC)
• Contractual Objectives, Measures and Targets as they relate to the Minimum Core Specification and SSC Strategic/Business Plans
• SSC Continuous Improvement Plan as it initially relates to the SSC's relicensing assessments
• Contextualisation, if any, of  the  Minimum Core Specification for the Sector (as presented in Appendix 3 of the SSC Performance Management Handbook)

Strategic Funding Methodology Consultation

In conjunction with work on the Funding Strategy, Price Waterhouse Cooper has completed their review of the current funding model. Their findings followed various workshops and consultations and were presented to the Joint Funding Methodology Project Board (comprising representatives from the SSCs and UKCES), on October 13th. The findings have since been circulated to all SCCs for comment.
