Biography

Katherine joined the UK Commission for Employment and Skills in August 2009. Previously, Katherine was Head of Skills and before that Research Manager at Policy Connect, a policy and network organisation with parliamentary links. In this role, she managed the National Skills Forum, Associate Parliamentary Skills Group and the Skills Commission, and led on a number of policy projects including research into the gender skills gap, apprentice progression routes, employer incentives to train and funding for adult skills. She holds an undergraduate degree in History from Nottingham University and a master’s degree in History from Oxford University.
