This research paper explores sectoral differences and the impact of skills on international productivity variations. It presents a number of new analyses on sector level datasets for five countries, including the US and UK, to explore the links between workforce skills and productivity.

This research project, undertaken for the SSDA by NIESR, seeks to explore the contribution of skills to productivity.
