Notice of Annual General Meeting 8th March 2008
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Tsunami Support (UK) will be held at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday 8th March in Room GCR 1 & 2, Ground Floor, Main Entrance, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, 2-4 Cockspur Street, London SW1Y 5DH.

Red Cross Newsletters
Between March 2005 and May 2006 the British Red Cross issued nine newsletters that were widely disseminated to the UK tsuanami community.

Registered charity
Tsunami Support UK is now a registered charity: No. 1121935. This is good news, for a number of reasons.

An interview on 'Woman's Hour'
Kelly Macro and Steve Gill are to talk on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour at 10 a.m. on Tuesday 11 December. The Rt. Hon. Tessa Jowell will join them to discuss issues of concern to TS(UK).

The government announce 7/7 memorial plans
The Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) have released the news that a design team has been chosen to create a memorial for victims of the July 7th 2005 bombs in London.

Opposition to Battersea
There is a growing body of feeling that the proposal to create a garden memorial in Battersea Park is an inadequate response to the depth of feeling concerning the Boxing Day tsunami. We can do better than this.

Meulaboh, Indonesia
Michael Pitt has sent us the following article, written by friends who had visited Sumatra....
In March this year we were able to go and visit a friend who is working for Tear Fund in Meulaboh on the tsunami coast in Banda Aceh in Indonesia.

Tsunami Support (UK) Constitution (Revised)
This is the text of the new constitution for the Tsunami Support (UK) organisation. Members will be required to approve this constitution before the organisation can change its status to that of a charitable trust.
