RED RIDING WINS BEST TV DRAMA AT FINAL SOUTH BANK SHOW AWARDS
Acclaimed Yorkshire drama Red Riding has beaten Being Human and Collision to take the TV Drama Award at the final South Bank Show Awards. Sean Bean accepted the award on behalf of the team behind the ambitious and dark trilogy, which was co-funded by Screen Yorkshire and aired on Channel 4 last year to critical acclaim.
Drama is in the air for Spring 2010
The spring 2010 schedules have been unveiled, revealing a crop of indigenous drama production for the discerning Yorkshire couch potato to look forward to. Hotly anticipated romantic comedy drama Married Single Other is coming up on ITV and The Extraordinary Miss Lister, Five Days and A Passionate Woman are lined up for the BBC.

LOCOG will be procuring for Digital and New Media activity over the coming months for the 2012 Games. This event in Leeds on 10th February aims to help companies maximise the business opportunities presented by the 2012 Games, 2014 Commonwealth Games and further opportunities for the ‘Decade of Sport'.
