The PARC - Performance Assessment Resource Centre

The PARC is a one-stop resource centre for monitoring, evaluation and performance assessment, established in March 2001 with support from the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID). Our aim is to improve performance assessment within the international development sector, which in turn will help to improve the effectiveness of poverty reduction initiatives worldwide.

We provide high quality support on all aspects of monitoring, evaluation and performance assessment support, building organisational capacities, guiding learning on performance assessment, and making key resources available through our online library.  Our services include:

  • M&E helpdesks
  • Development of monitoring frameworks, including support in Results Based Management and Managing for Development Results
  • Training and seminars
  • Project and programme evaluation

The PARC is managed by IOD, a consulting firm providing organisation development and monitoring and evaluation support to companies, government bodies and charities that are trying to improve what they do and how they do it. IOD has worked in over 50 countries on over 400 projects.
