Welcome to the General Osteopathic Council website. We regulate the practice of osteopathy
in the United Kingdom. By law osteopaths must be registered with us in order to practise.
We work with the public and osteopathic profession to promote patient safety by registering qualified professionals, and setting, maintaining and developing standards of osteopathic practice and conduct.
The UK Statutory Register of Osteopaths includes all those who are allowed to practise osteopathy in the UK.
You can use our Register to find a local osteopath.
