A host of top performers are going through final rehearsals ahead of the Reflections of World War Two Commemoration Show, taking place on Horse Guards Parade on Sunday 10th July.

National celebrities from film and television, including Petula Clark, Bruce Forsyth, Jane Horrocks, Robert Hardy, Simon Callow and Forces Sweetheart Clare Sweeney,  will entertain invited guests with music from a tri-Service orchestra and The Bach Choir.

The hour-long event, designed to take the audience back in time, will resonate both with the audience on Horse Guards and with those watching on the Mall or on TV at home.

It will specifically remember those that have suffered as a result of the Second World War and pay tribute to those who lived through the conflict.  It will show a concise history of events during the War, through song, dance and imagery.

The focus then moves to a period of remembrance with an address to the nation from Her Majesty The Queen.  A two minute silence in remembrance of the fallen will be signalled by HMS Belfast and a Royal Air Force "Missing Man" formation of four Jaguar fast-jet aircraft will fly over Horse Guards Parade.
